AISI H13 hot work tool steel plate complies with ASTM A681 standard, equivalent to 4Cr5MoSiV1, SKD61 and DIN 1.2344. This chromium-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel delivers outstanding thermal fatigue resistance, high-temperature strength, good toughness and polishability after quenching and tempering. Supplied in annealed condition for easy machining, it is widely adopted for aluminum alloy die-casting dies, hot extrusion dies, hot forging moulds and high-load plastic injection moulds. Full mill test certificate is provided for each shipment.

Excellent heat-shock resistance and good tempering stability, resists thermal cracking during repeated hot-forging, die-casting and hot-extrusion production cycles.

Fine homogeneous microstructure, good hardenability, delivers balanced strength, toughness and wear resistance after heat treatment, suitable for heavy-duty hot-working mold base and cavity inserts.
