AISI M2 high speed steel round bar conforms to ASTM A600 standard, equivalent to W6Mo5Cr4V2, SKH51 and DIN 1.3343. This molybdenum-tungsten high-speed tool steel possesses superior wear resistance, high hardness and excellent red hardness after quenching and triple tempering. Supplied in spheroidized annealed condition for convenient machining, it is widely used for manufacturing drills, end mills, taps, reamers and various high-wear tooling components. Full mill test certificate is provided for each shipment.

Q2. What standards and equivalent grades for M2 steel 

Our M2 bars comply with ASTM A600 standard. Equivalent grades include GB W6Mo5Cr4V2, JIS SKH51 and DIN 1.3343. Each batch is attached with complete mill test certificate.

Q3. What sizes and bar forms are available 

Available diameter ranges from 6 mm to 200 mm. Options contain hot-rolled, forged, peeled and precision ground bars. Custom cut-to-length service is acceptable according to customer drawing.
